Summer PROGRAM
Mon-Fri 8:00 am - 3:00 pm
Age range 3 to 11 years old
June - July
Our summer program aims to provide a variety of learning experiences in different
formats to cater to different age groups and sizes, including structured activities and
expert-led sessions with artists and community members. The curriculum will be
adaptable and flexible, based on the children's interests.
During the summer program, we aim to experiment with innovative hands-on
instructional strategies and learning environments, to enhance teaching and learning
throughout the year. Our main objective at DreamPlay is to develop activities that can
adjust to the varying developmental levels of the children. We will have structured
activities for the children each day, but we also recognize the significance of unstructured
free playtime. For this reason, we have created a new indoor soft playground, designed to
provide a safe space for children's free play.

Our curriculum will include sessions on Art Therapy, English Literacy, Chamorro
Language & Heritage, physical activities to keep children active, and Art & Craft
activities to foster their creativity. Additionally, we will integrate Social-Emotional
Learning (SEL) activities that prioritize students' fundamental needs for motivation,
social connectedness, and self-regulation as prerequisites for learning. During free
playtime, tutors will evaluate children's social skills, physical health, and socio-emotional
development.

We want children to have choices during the summer program. They can continue
working on the activities they find engaging, and they are welcome to bring their favorite
snacks. Our facility has a quiet area where toddlers can nap if they feel tired. We have the
learning books and a tutor to assist them if needed.
